I’m an avid reader of weeknotes for a couple of reasons:
a) I’m incredibly nosey
b) The lots of organisations on there that I find as a fantastic source of inspiration.
The site is (I think) powered by tumblr, where a collective of invited organisations write about a post about what they've been up to that particular week.
I also admire it for two different reseasons:
1) The fact that it’s “about reflecting on your work, your achievements, and what's on deck.” Reflection is good, particularly when you’re self employed and is something that is rarely included in the working week, even though we all know we should.
2) Weeknotes speaks of collaboration. I like that. I don't think it happens enough in the fields I work in and sometimes this lack of collective can let us down.
So inspired by all of this I’m hoping to keep dashing off a weeknote regularly (er.. once a week, actually) starting Monday.
